Summer Fun

The summer months are flying by and we are staying cool by SWIMMING!  Although the pool sometimes feels like a hot tub due to the 100 degree temperatures...  Emily is a fish out of water and LOVES to swim- lake, ocean, pool, baby pool... you name it, she loves it.  Here are pictures below of our sweet girl having fun in the water and staying cool in this heat!

That's right- We made our own backyard waterslide!

Swimming with her "Ali's David"

Lake Murray fun with Daddy

Eating her "pop"
Watching TV, waiting to head down to the beach.  When did she get so big?!?

Playing waves with Bop!  Looks like he got most of the wave action!
"Ewwwww, dirt!"

Posing with Mommy at Isle of Palms
Popsicle, melting fast in the heat!
Using our new puddle jumper float- highly recommend!!!

Big Girl Panties

Yep, that's right.  We have a potty trained 2 year old little girl!  Her daddy spent time with her while I was at work and potty trained her in 2 days.  He should seriously get father of the year award!  I am so proud of her (and him) and we now are a diaper free household!!!!  She is wearing pull ups at night, just in case, but they are usually dry when she gets up in the morning!  We are not completely accident free yet, but for the most part, she is doing awesome.  So Emily, for your "baby book" blog record, you potty trained at 2 years and 2 months old with the help of M&M's (which you picked out yourself- only one for #1 and "one and two" for #2!).  You like to wear Disney "Tangled" big girl panties and you will only wear your pull up if I call them "night night" panties.  You are PRECIOUS and I am so, so proud of you- especially when you are playing and stop to tell me you have to go, then tell me "hold it", run to the bathroom, go potty, look at me and say "I sure did!", clap because you are proud of yourself, and then remind me that we don't go pee pee in our panties.  I love you so much Emily Campbell!
