Santa Came to Aiken!

Emily and Matt must have been on the good list this year because Santa definitely made a stop at our house!!!  Matt's expressions and exclamations this year were priceless.  Everything anyone opened got a "wow".  His other favorites to say were "whoa!" and "cute!".  It is was so much fun to watch him open gifts.  He is definitely my extrovert child, while Emily remains shy and sweet (to everyone but me).  I cannot believe I was actually OFF this Christmas as well.  This is the first time in 10 years I have had an extended time off.  Partly due to my new JOB as the Assistant Nurse Manager of the NICU which I started in November!  Big step and I am still learning the ropes, but I have enjoyed the flexibility of the schedule so far plus no holidays or weekends!  Below are our pictures from Santa's visit and Christmas morning.   Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!!!

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's

Let me tell you, these are some spoiled rotten kids!  I think I could open up a toy store in addition to a golf shop out of my house.  They both deserve it though!  Our last Christmas celebration was at my parents house.  Matt and Emily had a blast again opening up gifts and it was fun to see their cousins Bennett and Chad.  Melissa is pregnant with twins and I had not seen her since she found out!  She is getting a little baby belly already and will hopefully find out their genders in February.   Emily thinks it is a girl and boy.  Here are some pictures!

Christmas in Spartanburg

We celebrated Christmas in Spartanburg this weekend with Stephen's parents and extended family.  Saturday night at Nana's house was pretty crazy with all of the young kids in a "mood", especially my two!  But we had fun nonetheless.  Emily and Matt had a great time with their cousin Millan and I practiced some of my photography skills on the kids!  Sorry in advance for the picture overload...
Family overload at Nana's house!
