Little Sibling Update

Baby Poole #2 is now almost 15 weeks along!  We had an ultrasound done at 12 weeks and I thought I'd share a quick picture of him/her.  Call me crazy if you want to (because I would call someone crazy if they told me this), but I have felt this baby move since I was just over 10 weeks along.  Stephen told me it was just "gas", so I blew it off at first knowing that I was probably just being optimistic... but nope- It was definitely the baby!  I think I first felt Emily move when I was around 14 weeks if I can remember correctly.  It is crazy to think I can already feel this tiny little baby doing flips inside, which is exactly what he/she was doing during my entire 12 week ultrasound appointment.  I feel him/her at random times during the day but also pretty much every night when I lay down to go to sleep of course--just like his/her sister did.  Mom and Baby are doing well so please pray for continued health!  Emily has had her first back to school cold but thankfully it was not a bad one-- and I hope I do not come down with it this coming week.  Will hopefully find out if this baby is a boy or girl around the end of September of beginning of October!!!  I'm just PRAYING for healthy!

Ali and David's Wedding

My sweet sister-in-law Ali got married on June 30th, 2012!  It was record highs the weekend of her wedding with temperatures well over 100.  Stephen, Emily, and I were all part of her and David's big day. I was so anxious about having a shy 2 year old be part of the ceremony (one who cries if a stranger just looks at her).  We practiced "walking" down the aisle on Friday night with David's niece Darcy, and it was decided that Emily would walk down with me and Darcy would walk down with her mom, Amanda.  I really and truly did not know what she was going to do.  As we approached the doorway way, I said "Ready?  Hold my hand, Emily..."  She in response turned to me and replied, "No, hold my flowers!!!"  She then shoved her flowers in my waiting hand and promptly RAN down the aisle straight into her Daddy's arms.  It was actually really sweet!  He set her down and shortly after that, she spotted my parents sitting near the front.  My little temper tantrum child then walked over to my mom and dad, sat down, and behaved the rest of the ceremony.  She could NOT have done any better.  I do believe this is the last wedding I will be a bridesmaid in, and I definitely went out with a bang.  I got a little overheated and had to sit down in the front pew near the end of the ceremony.   It may have given my "secret" away to some people, but being pregnant and overheated is not a good mixture!  I felt great the rest of the night and we (specifically Emily) danced the night away at the reception.  That little girl danced until 11:45pm when I finally bribed her off the dance floor with the late night doughnuts that had been delivered.  It was such a fun celebration and I am so happy to have shared in Ali and David's big day.  Enjoy some pictures below!
