Time is FLYING by and Matt is 5 months old now! I think the past month has been the fastest for me yet-- between work and traveling, we haven't had much spare time! Matt is doing good and hitting milestones left and right, but ran into a small roadblock as far as spoon feedings go... By this time, Emily had tried pretty much all of the first stage baby foods. Currently, he is having adverse reactions to both infant oatmeal cereal and infant rice cereal! I did try some sweet potatoes and some squash, but both of them made his tummy upset as well, so for now..... we are doing all bottles and NO spoon feedings for a few weeks! Here are some other milestones for him over the past month:
- TRYING very hard to sit up on his own, but those belly rolls just aren't quite up to the challenge yet of keeping him upright ;)
- Rolls all OVER the place- front, back, side- and scoots across the floor somehow-- definitely cannot leave him alone on the bed or floor anymore for a few seconds!
- Loves to grab hair
- Puts everything in his mouth, of course, and usually his fingers are always in there
- Laughs at just about anything, especially his big sister Emi
- His hair is growing!- mainly in the middle and makes him look like he has a little mohawk
- Sleeps through the night 50% of the time, and is still in his crib which is his PREFERRED sleeping environment (I'm still very proud of this one since big sister still likes to fall asleep in my bed most of the time)
