Looks like summer has come to an end... and a new school year is just beginning! We finished up the summer with a last little trip to the beach with the family and then the lake house over Labor day weekend. Emily started 4K the next week with Mrs. Brown. She was the flag holder her first week in school! She has been having a BLAST and absolutely loves it of course. She has already learned how to write her name better (and loves to practice it over and over again), and comes home with new songs each week. Matt is staying in his home "bubble" until May... especially while this respiratory virus is out! I think this is going to be a bad respiratory and flu season coming up this year. Prayers appreciated in advance for healthy-as-possible children! He has already had a fever since having his adenoids out (more blood work too) and is now going to have a CT scan of his lungs and sinus cavities to rule out any underlying infection that is not detected on X-ray. Looks like more anesthesia and more IVs in our near future! Here's some pictures of our last summer days and Emily's first day of school.
